OUR WLC WINNER

I have calculated the percentages and it looks like our winner for this challenge is Wraylynn Williams. Congrats on the win Wraylynn. She won $90! Yay! It was a great challenge ladies. If you have any comments or ideas how we can make it better or change the challenge let me know. So sorry ladies...

Sorry ladies I have really been slackin' getting our percentages posted. It is the final week so work really hard and get that exercise in. We will do our final weigh in on THURSAY SEPTEMBER 30TH so don't forget to get your weights in to me by 10AM so it will be fair. Rocky Start

Sorry ladies that we are getting off to a rocky start. It is a week and a half since we started....how are you feeling. Are you getting atleast 30 min of exercise every day? How about drinking atleast 64oz?? (but should be more if you are exercising) Are you getting atleast 8hrs of sleep a night? Those are 3 excellent goals to make if you are struggling losing weight and don't know why. Consistancy is the key. Okay as far as percentages go....

Incase you are curious and want to figure out your percentage on your own it is

(STARTING lbs-CURRENT lbs)  = ____ x 100
                  STARTING lbs                      

Example:

If your starting weight is 177 and your current weight is 173.5 ......
Take 177-173= 3 then you divide by starting weight... 3/177=0.0169.....x by 100 and you get 1.69 %.

It Begins!

Well, it is September first Ladies...and we only have 7 participants. It will be fine but we need to decide if we want to have a single winner that gets it all or if we want to do a couple prizes...Right now we will only have $105...so let me know what you would like to do. Also...get your weights to me tomorrow morning so we can get a beginning weight. Don't worry, I am the only one who sees them and I don't post them on the blog...just our percentage losses. So email or txt me those asap so I can get everyone's beginning weight.

Let's get a new Challenge Started!

We are ready to begin a new challenge and I hope everyone is excited. It is a great way to get motivated and start great eating and exercise habits. For this challenge we are focusing on percentages of weightloss so if you aren't interested in losing weight but more toning this may not be the challenge you are looking for.  We will do this challenge exactly like we have done ones in the past. We will all be putting in $15 and we will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner. All of the money will be split between the 3 winners. Depending on how many people we have join the challenge will depend on how big the prize money is. If you look at our last challenge our 1st place winner recieved $150 so it is a fun way to really push yourself to win and a great reward. I set up these challenges because I need the motivation...so anyone is welcome to join. We are limiting it to women because men more often lose weight faster than women and we want the challenge to to fun but also fair. The actual challenge will begin on Wednesday the 1st of September and end on Thursday the 30th...our own 30 day shred. Everyone who wants to participate has to have their money to me by the 31st of August **NO EXCEPTIONS** It is hard to try and get people to participate even if they agree to join the challenge and then never pay or weigh in. Prize Winners

We have our WLC WINNERS to announce. I just want to thank everyone for participating. We had a few that never paid but they never participated either so that really dropped our numbers from 18 originally to the 13 we had that actually paid. ($195.00)
We will still do the 3 place drawings because that is what we originally decided so the placing goes as follows!

WEIGH-IN

Its that time ladies to weigh-in and I wanted to make sure everyone remembered that you have to have your weight to me by 10AM saturday (TOMORROW) to be counted in the contest. IT'S ON!
Alright ladies, we are on our way! Day 3 already and it is gonna go quick. Get those workouts in and COUNT those CALORIES!! (and make sure they are good calories not just empty ones!) Okay, enough preaching!
We have 19 participants which is going to be awesome! Here is how our prizes will work out. We will do a 3 place prize system.

Don't forget, our weigh-ins are EVERY SATURDAY by 10AM. I need them by 10AM at the latest so it is important to get them in. We will be going private by tonight so ( I think I have everyone's email address) I can start posting percentages and my address to send your money in. Welcome

Hey everyone, Welcome to our new WLC 30 Day Shred. I know we all wanna lose a few lbs and what better way to do it but with friends. I am excited to start this challenge, so here we go.
We will start on May 1st. That is when I need your starting weight by 10 AM. This blog will be open for 1 week while we get everyone included in the challenge and then I will make it private and invite you all. We will be putting in $15 for the challenge and we will do 3 place winners. It all depends on how many people join in the challenge to know what our prizes will be. Something a little different from the last challenge (if you participated in it) is that we will be posting to this blog. You can log any recipes that are helping you, exercises that you enjoy or if you wanna get together for a workout, come post it here. I know this is a challenge but we want everyone to be motivated and have fun! We also want to post stats every week. So every saturday you will email your new weight and I will put it into a percentage (Then nobody will see your weight, just a percentage of how much you have lost) I think seeing the numbers will really help us to stay competitive. So since it is only for 4 weeks, the starting week (TOMORROW) will be our initial weigh in, and then we will have 2 weeks where you will log your progress....and then we will have the final weigh in. Nice and short so don't stress it will be fun. You can do anything for 30 days!! Let's get started. Keep motivated and lets have fun.

*This weight lost challenge will be going on your honor since we can't all be together to weigh in. Lets keep it simple, only good eating and exercise. No weight loss products, HCG, prescription weight loss meds...etc. We can do this! Let's get healthy!
